Prepress
The Argus Prepress Department has earned a reputation for its high-end color work along with rapid turnaround. Staffed with some of the most highly skilled technicians, the prepress department operates around the clock to fulfill our clients’ needs for color scans, digital proofing, and complex page composition. Well versed in MAC and PC operations, the prepress personnel are trained in the latest versions of all pagination and color enhancement software. The department is equipped with multiple workstations and redundant backup of all files. Our high-end digital proofers and direct-to-plate technology are the most up-to-date in the industry.
Press
The Argus Pressroom operates around the clock serving our clients most critical turnaround times. With 40” six-color presses, we can perfect jobs, creating a finished sheet in one press pass. To satisfy a broad range of print projects, the presses can print on 33# lightweight stock all the way up to 36 pt. board stock. Equipped with aqueous coating units, the presses can compliment jobs with in-line gloss, satin or dull coatings.
Bindery
The Argus Bindery finishes every project with its staff of dedicated employees and the latest in cutting and bindery equipment. Equipped with two cutting systems, seven folders and three 8-pocket stitcher trimmers, rapid turnaround and high quality finishing is achieved day after day. Loop stitching, die-cutting and miniature folding are all done in-house serving our customers 24 hours a day.
Pick-n-Pack Fulfillment
The Argus Fulfillment Department can assemble and package the most complex jobs for trade shows, conventions or direct mail. Custom packaging and shrink-wrapping protect your projects while our 24 hour a day staffing ensures that deadlines are met day after day.
eFulfillment
The Argus Press utilizes the Argosy e-fulfillment/e-procurement system developed by our parent company, Nationwide Graphics. With this web-based application, you can order your products or give purchasing authority to your sales reps or customers. A real time inventory and tracking system, along with custom reports, saves time and money on every transaction.
